HA Establishes Office for the Introduction of Innovative Drugs and Medical Devices: Invitation to Submit Innovative Medical Device Solutions

The Hospital Authority (HA) has established the Office for the Introduction of Innovative Drugs and Medical Devices (OIDM) to accelerate the adoption of innovative and cost-effective drugs and medical devices that address unmet healthcare needs in Hong Kong.
Medical device manufacturers and local agents interested in introducing innovative medical technologies to the HA are invited to submit product information, including product descriptions, technical specifications, regulatory compliance documentation, and evidence of safety and effectiveness. The OIDM will review submissions and provide guidance on the Department of Health's Medical Device Administrative Control System (MDACS).
